Choose an Individual Font Upgrade for one typeface or a Bundle Upgrade for every font included in one named bundle. Upgrades are available for additional users, websites, apps and games, production systems, and broadcast use.

Every paid font or bundle includes commercial desktop use for up to 2 users. This covers logos, branding, client projects, packaging, print, merchandise, advertising, and static digital graphics. Other uses require the appropriate license upgrade.

You may not share, resell, redistribute, or publicly upload the font files. You may not provide them to clients or unlicensed users, create derivative font software, or embed them in websites, apps, games, production systems, or video without the appropriate license.

Open the Glyphs panel in your design software to view and select alternate characters. Not every application supports OpenType alternates, so use software with full glyph access when needed.

Traditional trial files are not currently available. Use the online Type Tester to preview BN fonts with your own text before purchasing. The newest BN release is also available free for a limited time.

BN TYPE FOUNDRY
END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding agreement between BN Type Foundry (“Licensor”) and the purchaser, downloader, or authorized user (“Licensee”). It governs all font software, related files, and updates supplied by BN Type Foundry (collectively, the “Font Software”).
By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Font Software, the Licensee accepts this Agreement. If the Licensee does not accept these terms, the Font Software may not be installed or used.
AGREEMENT SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
This Agreement applies to Font Software obtained directly from BN Type Foundry and, unless different written terms are supplied at purchase, Font Software obtained through an authorized reseller.
An order confirmation, invoice, product page, or written custom license may add permitted uses or limits. If a signed custom license conflicts with this Agreement, the signed custom license controls only for the Font Software and uses it expressly covers.
DEFINITIONS
“User” means one individual who can install, access, or use the Font Software.
“Device” means a computer or workstation controlled by a licensed User.
“Static Output” means a fixed image, outlined vector, printed piece, or non-editable document from which the Font Software cannot reasonably be extracted.
“Embedding” means incorporating the Font Software into a website, app, game, electronic document, device, system, or other product so it can render live or editable text.
“License Upgrade” means additional rights purchased for an Individual Font or a named Bundle.
OWNERSHIP
The Font Software is licensed, not sold. BN Type Foundry retains all copyrights, trademarks, source files, outlines, naming rights, and other intellectual property rights in the Font Software.
The Licensee receives only the limited rights expressly granted by this Agreement.
GENERAL LICENSE GRANT
Subject to payment of all applicable fees and continued compliance with this Agreement, BN Type Foundry grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Font Software only within the scope of the purchased license.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by BN Type Foundry.
STANDARD DESKTOP LICENSE
Every paid Individual Font or Bundle purchase includes a Standard Desktop License for up to 2 Users within the same legal entity.
Those Users may install the Font Software on devices they own or control and may create personal and commercial work.
The Standard Desktop License permits:
Logos, wordmarks, branding, packaging, client projects, advertisements, and printed materials.
Physical merchandise and products containing Static Output.
Social media graphics, digital advertisements, presentation graphics, and other Static Output.
Static website graphics, including images, banners, and logos that do not embed the Font Software.
Finished artwork supplied to clients, provided the Font Software itself is not supplied.
FREE FONT LICENSE
Unless the download states otherwise, Font Software offered free by BN Type Foundry includes Standard Desktop License rights for 1 User.
The free license does not include additional users or any embedding, production, server, app, game, broadcast, or video rights. Those uses require the applicable paid font or License Upgrade.
LICENSE UPGRADE STRUCTURE
A License Upgrade expands the permitted use of Font Software already licensed to the Licensee. It does not include or transfer the Font Software itself.
Individual Font Upgrade: Covers one identified typeface.
Bundle Upgrade: Covers every typeface included in one identified BN Type Foundry bundle.
Available categories: Additional User, Webfont, App / Game, Server / Production, and Broadcast.
ADDITIONAL USER LICENSE
More than 2 Users may access paid Font Software only when the Licensee purchases the Additional User tier covering the total number of Users.
Available tiers may include up to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 Users.
All Users must belong to the same licensed legal entity unless BN Type Foundry agrees otherwise in writing.
Clients, parent companies, subsidiaries, outside agencies, freelancers, contractors, and other separate legal entities are not automatically covered and must obtain their own license unless specifically included in a written custom license.
WEBFONT LICENSE
A Webfont License permits the covered Font Software to be embedded as live, selectable text on 1 website owned or controlled by the Licensee.
The Licensee must use reasonable technical measures to prevent unauthorized extraction or downloading.
Each additional website requires separate coverage unless a written license states otherwise.
Static website graphics do not require a Webfont License.
APP AND GAME LICENSE
An App / Game License permits the covered Font Software to be embedded in 1 application or game title distributed by or for the Licensee.
The Font Software must be secured against extraction, copying, or independent use.
Separate applications, games, titles, editions, or materially separate distributions require separate coverage unless a written license states otherwise.
SERVER AND PRODUCTION LICENSE
A Server / Production License permits use of the covered Font Software in internal servers, backend systems, document generation, personalization services, design or production automation, manufacturing workflows, variable-data output, laser engraving, CNC equipment, and similar systems where the Font Software is accessed or used beyond ordinary desktop design by licensed Users.
This license does not permit customers or the public to download, extract, or independently use the Font Software.
It does not cover additional Users, websites, apps, games, or broadcast use unless those rights are separately licensed.
BROADCAST AND VIDEO LICENSE
A Broadcast License permits use of the covered Font Software in 1 identified production, campaign, program, film, commercial, streaming project, or comparable audiovisual work.
It covers titles, motion graphics, on-screen typography, and promotional video connected to that licensed production.
Separate productions or campaigns require separate coverage unless a written license states otherwise.
CLIENT WORK
Designers, agencies, and studios may use properly licensed Font Software to create work for clients.
Clients may receive Static Output, outlined artwork, or finished files that do not contain usable Font Software.
If a client needs to install, access, edit with, or otherwise use the Font Software, the client must obtain its own appropriate license.
LOGOS, WORDMARKS, AND TRADEMARKS
The Standard Desktop License permits the creation of logos, wordmarks, and trademarks.
The Licensee or its client may own and register the resulting mark.
No ownership interest in the underlying Font Software, letterforms as font software, or BN Type Foundry trademarks is transferred.
PHYSICAL PRODUCTS AND MERCHANDISE
The Standard Desktop License permits the sale and distribution of physical products displaying Static Output created with the Font Software, including apparel, packaging, books, posters, and merchandise.
The Font Software may not be included with the product or supplied in a form that allows the recipient to generate new text or designs.
STATIC DIGITAL OUTPUT
The Standard Desktop License permits Static Output in digital graphics, advertisements, social posts, presentations, PDFs, images, and non-editable electronic documents, provided the Font Software cannot reasonably be extracted or used by the recipient.
Live or editable text embedding requires the applicable License Upgrade.
CLOUD STORAGE AND REMOTE ACCESS
The Font Software may be stored in a private cloud or internal file system only when access is limited to properly licensed Users.
Storing the Font Software in a system accessible by unlicensed employees, clients, contractors, vendors, or the public constitutes unauthorized sharing.
Use through a remote desktop, virtual machine, or similar environment counts toward the licensed User total.
BACKUP COPIES AND SECURITY
The Licensee may make a reasonable number of secure backup copies solely for archival and disaster-recovery purposes.
Every copy remains subject to this Agreement.
The Licensee must take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access, copying, extraction, or distribution and must promptly remove access when a User is no longer licensed.
MODIFICATIONS AND FORMAT CONVERSION
The Licensee may make technical modifications or format conversions only when reasonably necessary for an expressly licensed internal use.
Modified or converted Font Software remains subject to this Agreement and may not be shared, sold, sublicensed, published, or distributed.
Modifications do not create ownership rights or a new distributable typeface. BN Type Foundry is not required to support modified files.
AI, MACHINE LEARNING, AND DATASETS
The Font Software, its outlines, glyph data, source data, or substantially similar extracted representations may not be used to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, or supply any artificial intelligence or machine-learning system; included in a dataset; or used to generate font software or editable typeface assets without prior written permission from BN Type Foundry.
This restriction does not prohibit ordinary use of Static Output in finished design work.
PROHIBITED USES
The Licensee may not:
Share, sell, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend, publish, or transfer the Font Software.
Provide the Font Software to a client, vendor, printer, manufacturer, contractor, or unlicensed User.
Upload the Font Software to a public server, public repository, shared asset library, or open design platform.
Include the Font Software in a downloadable or editable template, theme, source file, or product that enables third-party text creation unless specifically licensed in writing.
Convert, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the Font Software except where applicable law expressly permits and does not allow contractual restriction.
Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, metadata, or license notices.
Claim ownership of the Font Software or present a modified version as an original BN Type Foundry release.
Use the Font Software outside the purchased license scope.
TRANSFER AND ASSIGNMENT
The Licensee may not transfer or assign this Agreement or any license rights without prior written consent from BN Type Foundry.
A merger, acquisition, asset sale, corporate reorganization, or change of control does not automatically transfer the license.
BN Type Foundry may assign this Agreement as part of a transfer of its business or intellectual property.
LICENSE RECORDS AND VERIFICATION
The Licensee is responsible for maintaining accurate records of licensed Users and covered uses.
Upon a reasonable written request relating to suspected noncompliance, the Licensee must provide sufficient information to verify compliance.
BN Type Foundry will limit any request to information reasonably necessary to confirm the license scope.
UPDATES, SUPPORT, AND COMPATIBILITY
BN Type Foundry may provide updates, corrections, or replacement files at its discretion.
Unless different terms are supplied, updates remain governed by this Agreement.
No guarantee is made that the Font Software will remain compatible with every operating system, application, platform, or future technology.
Support does not include assistance for modified files or unsupported software.
FEES, TAXES, AND REFUNDS
License rights become effective only after full payment.
Prices and license options may change for future purchases. The Licensee is responsible for applicable taxes, duties, or similar charges.
Due to the digital nature of Font Software and immediate access to the files, all sales are final except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved by BN Type Foundry in writing.
WARRANTY, INDEMNITY, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Font Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Licensee is responsible for its use of the Font Software and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BN Type Foundry from third-party claims arising from the Licensee’s breach of this Agreement or unlawful use of the Font Software.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BN Type Foundry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
BN Type Foundry’s total aggregate liability relating to the Font Software will not exceed the amount paid for the applicable license.
TERM AND TERMINATION
This Agreement remains effective unless terminated.
It terminates automatically if the Licensee materially breaches it and fails to cure the breach after notice where a cure is reasonably possible.
Upon termination, the Licensee must immediately stop using the Font Software, delete all installed and stored copies, and require all covered Users to do the same.
Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, liability, and other terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
GOVERNING LAW, GENERAL TERMS, AND CONTACT
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from this Agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and each party consents to their jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
This Agreement, together with the applicable order confirmation and any signed custom license, constitutes the entire agreement regarding the Font Software and supersedes prior statements concerning the same subject.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific instance stated.
