Every paid font purchase includes commercial use for up to 2 users. Create logos, branding, packaging, print materials, and static digital graphics. An upgrade is required for additional users, website or app embedding, server-based production, or broadcast use.

When Do I Need an Upgrade?
An upgrade is required for:

Every paid font or bundle purchase includes a Standard Desktop License for up to 2 users.
Need broader coverage? Choose an individual font upgrade for one typeface, or a bundle upgrade for all fonts included in one named bundle.
Both offer additional-user, webfont, app / game, server / production, and broadcast options. Each purchase adds only the coverage you select. Fonts and bundles are sold separately.

Required when your team exceeds the number of users included with its font license.
Choose coverage for up to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 total users. These totals include your existing users; they are not additional seats.

Required when the font is embedded as live, selectable text on one website.
You do not need this upgrade to display finished artwork, such as a logo, banner, or image containing the font.
Font files must be protected from unauthorized download or redistribution.

Permits the font to be installed or integrated into internal servers, backend systems, document-generation tools, engraving equipment, personalization systems and similar production workflows.
This license does not permit public access to or redistribution of the font files.

Permits the font to be embedded in one application, software product or game. Users may not extract or independently access the font files.

Can I use your fonts for a logo?

Yes. Every paid font includes a Standard Desktop License, which allows you to create logos, wordmarks, and visual identities for commercial use.
Can I trademark a logo made with your fonts?

Yes. Logos created with a properly licensed BN Type Foundry font may be registered as trademarks. Your trademark belongs to you; ownership of the font software remains with BN Type Foundry.
When do I need an Additional User License?

An upgrade is required when more people need to install or use the font files than your license allows. Paid font purchases include up to 2 users.
Choose a tier covering your total number of users. For example, a team of 3 needs the 5-user tier.
Do my clients need their own license?

Your Desktop License covers delivering finished artwork to clients, including logos, packaging, and static graphics.
If a client needs to install or use the font files, they need their own license. Your team’s user allowance does not extend to a separate client company.
Website embedding, app embedding, and other licensed uses require the applicable upgrade.
Individual font upgrades cover one typeface each. A bundle upgrade provides the selected coverage for all fonts included in one named bundle.
If you only need broader rights for one or two fonts from a bundle, you can purchase individual upgrades for those fonts instead.
